Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StandupSync (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

StandupSync provides asynchronous daily standups, blocker tracking, analytics, and related collaboration features for teams. We may update, add, or remove features over time.

Accounts

You're responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the activity of members you invite to your workspace. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it in unauthorized ways.
• Don't upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
• Don't resell or provide the Service to third parties except as permitted by your plan.

Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes won't affect the current billing period you've already paid for.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime. Your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period, after which it won't renew. You can export your data before or after cancellation.

Intellectual property

We own the Service and its content, excluding your workspace data. You retain all rights to the content you and your team create; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service on your behalf.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Google, Microsoft, and Stripe. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StandupSync will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect the Service and its users.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
